What does a sound engineer do?
Supervise crew, sound systems, audio mixing, stage planning, de-rigging, mic placement. Mix/research/ work with artist.
What does a roadie do?
Instrumental support roles such as this assist with get in, de-rigging, set up and design, maintain and tune instruments alongside transportation
What are the responsibility’s of an Artist management?
Manage finances, fees and they manage the artists. They can also lease with record companies and lead musicians to only leave them with their music.
Venue management, what do they do?
They book the venue to people, they get licensing performing rights, they manage front of house staff and crew and they manage publicity and security.
Studio manager, what do they do?
They book recording studios, and liaise with the studio support and sound technicians.
Promoters, what do they do?
They manage ticket sales, drive marketing, manage finances, work in a group or work for themselves.
Marketing management, what do they do?
MANAGE MARKETING, they also work with a promoter to create materials and realise. Strategies to sell to the target audience.
Artists and repertoire, what do they do?
Watch artists and bands and they scout for talent!
Technical manager, what do they do?
Marking and repairing or electronic equipment.
