Bones that are long and skinny with joints at each end
What classifies as a Short Bone?
Small and cube-like in shape, used for stability and small movements
What classifies as a Flat Bone?
Flat bones at attachment sites
What classifies as an Irregular Bone?
funky shaped bones, used for protection
What classifies as a Sesamoid Bone?
the patella - protection
