Q

Diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis (DISH)

A

Diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis (DISH, Forestier disease) is a distinct entity from degenerative
disc disease, but appears similar due to exuberant osteophytosis. DISH is defined as
flowing bridging anterior osteophytes spanning at least four vertebral levels, with
normal disk spaces and sacroiliac joints.
