What is glenoid cavity?
A fossa located on the lateral angle of the scapula and articulates with the head of the humerous forming the glenohumeral joint.
What is fascicle?
A bundle of skeletal muscle fibers surrounded by perimysium (connective tissue)
What does the connective tissue epimysium cover?
The entire muscle (protection from other muscles and bones)
What are fascia?
Band of connective tissue primarily collagen beneath skin that attaches, stabilizes, encloses and separates muscles / internal organs
What are aponeuroses?
Layers of flat broad tendons joining muscles and the parts they act upon (bone or muscle)
What do ligaments, aponeuroses, tendons and fascia have in common?
They all have fibrous connective tissue of collagen fibers
