A - eversion, assist to plantarflexion
O - head of the fibula & proximal two-thirds of lateral fibula
I - base of the first matatarsal and medial cuneform
Fibilaris (peroneus) brevis
A - eversion, assist to plantarflexion
O - distal two-thirds of lateral fiula
I - tuberosity of fifth metatarsal
Tibialis anterior
A - eversion, dorsiflexion
O - lateral condyle of tibia, proximal, lateral surface of tibia & interosseous membrane
I - base of 1st metatarsal & medial cuneform
Extensor digitorum longus
A - extend the 2nd - 5th toes, dorsiflexion, eversion
O - lateral condyle of tibia, proximal, anterior shaft of fibula, interosseous membrane
I - middle and distal phalanges of 2nd - 5th toes
Extensor hallucis longus
A - extension of 1st toe, dorsiflexion, inversion
O - middle, anterior surface of fibula, interosseous membrane
I - distal phalanx of 1st toe
Sartorius
A - flexion of hip, lateral rotation, abduction, flexion of the knee, medial rotation of the knee
O - anterior superior iliac spine
I - pes anserinus tendon (goose foot)
Rectus femoris
A - extension hip, flexion of knee
O - AIIS
I - tibial tuberosity
Vastus medialis
A - extension of knee
O - medial lip of linea aspera
I - tibial tuberosity
Vastus lateralis
A - extension of knee
O - lateral lip of linea aspera, gluteal tuberosity, greater trochanter
I - tibial tuberosity
Vastus intermedius
A - extension of hip
O - anterior and lateral shaft of femur

Biceps femoris
A - flexion of knee, lateral rotation of flexed knee, extension of hip
O - Long head: ischial tuberosity, Short head: lateral lip of linea aspera
I - head of the fibula
Semitendinosus
A - felxion of knee, medial rotation of flexed knee, extension of hip
O - ischial tuberosity
I - pes anserinus ( goose foot)
Semimembranosus
A - flexion of knee, medial rotation of flexed knee, extension of hip
O - ischial tuberosity
I - posterior aspect of medial condyle of tibia
