O: posterior surfaces of condyles of the femur
I: calcaneus via calcaneal tendon
A: platarflex ankle with knee extended & flexes knee

soleus
O: soleal line, proximal posterior tibia & fibula, posterior head of fibula
I: calcaneus via calcaneal tendon
A: plantarflexion with knee flexed
FD: inferior
popliteus
O: lateral condyle of femur & lateral meniscus
I: posterior aspect of tibia, superior to soleal line
A: weakly flexes knee, unlocks knee

O: AIIS & ilium surface of acetabulum
I: tibial tuberosity via patella and patellar ligament
A: flex hip & extend knee
