Latissimus Dorsi
Actions: Adducts the arm, Medially rotates the arm, Extends the arm
Nerve: Thoracodorsal nerve (C6-C8)
Supraspinatus
Actions: Helps the deltoid muscle initiate the abduction, Helps stabilize the shoulder by drawing the humerus toward the glenoid fossa of the scapular
Nerve: Suprascapula (C5-C6)
Infraspinatus
Action: Laterally rotates the arm, helps stabilize the shoulder by drawing the humerus toward the gleaned fossa of the scapula
Nerve: Suprascapular nerve (C5-C6)
Teres Minor
Actions: Laterally rotates the arm, Weakly adducts the arm, Helps stablize the shoulder by drawing the humerus toward the gleaned fossa of the scapula
Nerve: Axillary nerve (C5-C6)
Triceps Brachii
Actions: Extends the arm & forearm
Nerve: Radial Nerve (C7-C8)
Serratus Ant
Action: Abducts scapula and upwardly rotates it while abducting the arm
Nerve: Long thoracic nerve (c5-C7)
Pectoralis Minor
Actions: Draw scaupula forward and downward
Nerve: Medial pectoral (C8-T1)
Levator Scapulae
Actions: Elevates medial border of scapula while downwardly rotating lateral angle, helps traps and rhomboid pulls scapula upward and medially; bends neck laterally
Nerve: Dorsal scapular (C5) and ventral primary rami of C3-C4
Trapezius
Action: Elevate and upwardly rotate scapula, extend neck. Adduct (retract) scapula, depress and upwardly rotate scapula.
Nerve: C3-C4 & CN XI
Rhomboid Major
Action: Retracts and elevates the medial border of scapula while it downwardly rotates the lateral angle
Nerve: Dorsal Scapular Nerve (C5)
Rhomboid Minor
Actions: Retracts and elevates the medial border of scapula while it downwardly rotates the lateral angle
Nerve: Dorsal Scapular (C5)
Brachialis
Action: Flexes forearm

Nerve: Radial (C5-C6)
Pronator Teres
Action: Pronates and flexes forearm
Nerve: Median Nerve (C6-C7)
Flexor Carpi Raidalis
Action: Flexes and radial deviates (abducts)
Nerve: Median nerve (C6-C7)
Palmaris Longus
Action: Flexes hand at wrist and tenses palmar aponeurosis
Nerve: Median (C7-C8)
Flexor Carpi Ulnaris
Actions: Flexs and ulnar deviates (adducts) hand at the wrist
Nerve: Ulnar nerve (C8-T1)
Flexor Carpi Digitorum Superficialis
Actions: Flexes middle phalanges. If action continues, flexes proximal phalanges, hands at wrist and forearm at elbow
Nerve: Median (C7-T1)
