Verbal or Linguistic
Verbal or Linguistic – Thinks and learns through written and spoken words; has the ability to memorize facts, fill in workbooks, take written tests, and enjoy reading.
Logical or Mathematical
Logical or Mathematical – thinks deductively; deals with numbers and recognizes abstract patterns.
Visual or Spatial
Visual or Spatial – thinks in and visualizes images and pictures; has the ability to create graphic designs and communicate with diagrams and pictures
Body or Kinesthetic
Body or Kinesthetic – learns through physical movement and body wisdom; has a sense of knowing through body memory
Musical or Rhythmic
Musical or Rhythmic – recognizes tonal patterns and environmental sounds and learns through rhyme, rhythm and repetition
Intrapersonal
Intrapersonal – Enjoys and learns through self-reflection, metacognition, working alone, and an awareness of inner spiritual realities.
Interpersonal
Interpersonal – thinks empathetically; learns through social communication
