A

  • > Defective menin protein production
  • > Irregular cell growth

What are the features of MEN 1? [4] PPPD

A
  • Parathyroid Hyperplasia/Adenoma (hypercalcemia)
  • Pancreatic tumours eg insulinoma (hypoglycaemia)
  • Pituitary adenomas (mainly prolactinoma)
  • Duodenal endocrine tumours (hypoglycaemia & ulcers)
