A
where info is held at each of the senses. The capacity of these registers is large. Constantly receiving info but majority is discarded in milliseconds

Persons focus is on a sensory store then the info is transferred to STM

A
Info is held here for use of immediate tasks. Has a limited duration so if not rehearsed it will disappear quickly

Maintenance Rehearsal
A
Repetition of info in STM will eventually transfer it to LTM

LTM
A
Potentially unlimited. Info may feel like its been forgotten but rather it has not been made permanent or it is there u just cant find it

Retrieval
A
Process of getting info from LTM involves info passing back through STM.
