Life cycle

A
  1. Adults lay eggs in lungs
  2. Larvae hatch in bronchi and trachea the coughed up and swallowed
  3. Larvae shed in faeces
  4. Larvae penetrate snails and develop into L3
  5. Sheep ingest infected snails and L3 released
  6. L3 cross gut wall and travel via lymph/blood to lungs
