normally CXR is normal
if abnormal - most likely to show atelectasis

- sinus tachycardia
- nonspecific ST-T wave changes
- 5% show rt axis deviation, RVH, RBBB

What are teh most common abnormalities seen in an ABG of someone with a PE?
A
Hypoxia and respiratory alkalosis (high pH)
hypoxia + alkalosis + clear CXR = highly suggestive of PE
