Abscess
Enclosed collection of liquefied tissue (pus), somewhere in the body. It is the result of the body’s defensive reaction to foreign material.
Acute
- Sharp.

The extent to which a patient continues an agreed-on mode of treatment without close supervision.

An accessory or auxiliary agent or measure.

Agranulocytosis
An acute disease to which there is a dramatic decrease in the production of granulocytes, so that a pronounced neutropenia evolves, leaving the body defenseless against bacterial invasion.

Lower RBC, lower hemoglobin. Reduced delivery of oxygen to the tissues.
Anhedonia
Inability to enjoy what is usually pleasurable.
Aneurysm
Sac formed by the localized dilatation of a wall of an artery, a vein of the heart.
Angioedema
Similar to hives, but affect the deeper layers of your skin.
