variables, exponents, mathematical symbols,
and operations.
Algebraic expression
A collection of objects usually enclosed by curly brackets {} and separated by comma.
Set
A pair of numbers (x,y) in which x is the first number and y are the second number.
Ordered Pair
The directed distance from the y-axis to a point on a coordinate plane.
Abscissa
The directed distance from the x-axis to a point on a coordinate plane.
Ordinate
The plane determined by the coordinate axes.
Coordinate plane
It consists of two real number lines that intersect at a right angle.
Rectangular Coordinate System
A plane figure bounded by three straight sides.
Triangle
A triangle having three congruent sides and three congruent interior angles.
Equilateral Triangle
A triangle having two congruent sides and two congruent interior angles.
Isosceles Triangle
A triangle having no equal side and no equal interior angles.
Scalene triangle
The sum of the measures of exterior angles.

A quadrilateral with one pair of parallel sides.
Trapezoid
If the nonparallel sides of a trapezoid are congruent, what is this?
Isosceles Trapezoid
Sets that have countless and impractically enumerable elements
Infinite Sets
Sets having elements that are not infinite but are impractically enumerable one by one.
Continuous Sets
Set that contains no element
Null Set
