MSK Flashcards
Fracture of distal humerus
Undisplaced fracture of radial styloid process
Minimally displaced fracture of the radial head
Minimally displaced fracture of the neck of femur
Garden 3 subcapital
Marked soft tissue swelling overlying a fracture of the lateral malleolus
Weber A, minimal lateral displacement, transverse
Osteochondral fracture of the lateral corner of the dome of the talus
IMMATURE SKELETON
Two avulsion fractures (middle and lateral)
1: tibial eminence (avulsed by ACL)
2: tibial cortes (avulsed by attachment of lateral joint capsule)
Stress fracture of distal shaft of the second metatarsal
Fracture undisplaced, no fracture line visible, but demonstrated by presence of callus at either end of fracture line
Wedge fractures of two vertebral bodies.
No specific radiological signs indicative of fragility fractures
Pathological fracture of right ischiopubic ramus. Two fracture lines visible, along with abnormal bone texture. This is suggestive of metastatic disease
This is a NORMAL X-ray, with soft tissue creases easily mistaken for fracture lines
Fracture of the proximal shaft of the middle metacarpal of the right hand
Middle phalanx fracture extending into the PIP articular surface
LONGITUDINAL fracture of proximal phalanx
OBLIQUE fracture of tibia
