Long: tubular, hollow, expanded ends.
Short/cuboidal
Flat: curved protective plates
Irregular: 'other', various shapes
Sesamoid: type of irregular, round oval nodules in a tendon eg kneecaps.

A

Cortical: Compact and dense with cells & vessels

Trabecular/cancellous: spongy with marrow, cells & vessels.

Woven: made fast, disorganised & no structure.
