Gout vs. Psuedogout
Gout: negative birefringence (yellow in parallel light), uric acid crystals, needle-shaped, big toe, after steak/beer.
Pseudo: weakly positive birefringence (blue in parallel light), calcium pyrophosphate crystals, rhomboid, affects knee (big joints).
