Land is owned by small ruling class. Worked by peasants in exchange for protection.

Increased amount of people living in towns/cities. Rural to urban.
What is free trade?
Trade with no tax, tariffs or restrictions.
What is protectionism?
Restriction of international trade to help domestic industries.
What are tariffs?
Custom duties on merchandise imports.

Tax on cross boarder goods.
