Mozart - Die Entführung aus dem Serail

A
One of Mozart's early operas in the form
of singspiel. It became a more serious
and complete art form to what it had
been before him.
An opera that was pivotal for its comic
element, for being a German opera and
for being in the vernacular instead of
Italian.

Singspiel based on the French Revolution.
Sung in German ( The vernacular).
Beethoven was greatly influenced by Mozart and was inspired by the librettist Schikaneder who wrote the Magic Flute.
‘Jetzt, Alter, jetzt hat es Eile!’ contains many moments of word painting: Humorous moments in the duet reflected with the strings and woodwind dialoguing. ‘Trembling’ strings when he says trembling. Tension rising at the

Azione teatrale: an opera on a mythological subject with choruses and dancing.

“Chiamo il mio ben così”, Verses contain stromentato: Voice is accompanied by part or all of the orchestra., instead of the traditional secco recitative, where the voice is only accompanied by the basso continuo.
