A

Qi level

37
Q

Effects of Chinetsukyu?

A
Tonify Qi (esp. Wei Level) & Yang
Helps remove local Qi & Blood obstruction
Warms cold areas on skin & muscle level
38
Q

Why is Chinetsukyu considered “indirect” moxa?

A

Because it is not allowed to burn all the way to the skin

49
Q

Which treatment helps deeply warm the treatment point?

A

Kyutoshin

50
Q

When to use Kyutosin?

A
Chronic, deep cold
Cold in muscle channel
Yang deficiency symptoms
Numbness/paralysis
Tonifying the Yang + Blood in an area or point
51
Q

What level does Kyutoshin treat?

A
Blood level (& Qi level)
**Also warms the surface of the skin, which is Qi level**
52
Q
