A

A movement involving no trunk flexion, only hip extension and flexion. (femur on pad, pelvis is free)
Trunk is static, hip is dynamic.

What is back extension on the GHD?

A

A movement, following after mastering the hip extension. Engaging in trunk flexion and extension, surrendering the lumbar curve. (pad under pelvis)

What is the hip and back extension on the GHD?

A

Starting from the bottom, extended in the spine, full flexion in the hip, full roll up and down. (pelvis if free) , combines hip extension and flexion, trunk flexion and extension
