abduction

extension
straightening of a joint or increasing the angle between 2 bones

excessive extension of the parts of a joint beyond anatomical positions
dorsiflexion
ankle movement bringing the toes toward the chin
plantar flexion
ankle movement pointing the toes downward away from the chin
inversion
turning the side of foot inward/ towards other foot
eversion
turning the side of the foot outward/ away from foot
rotation
turning on a single axis
external (lateral) rotation
rotation of the hip or shoulder away from midline
internal (medial) rotation
ration of the hip or shoulder towards the midline
pronation
turning turning the arm downward /palm down
supination
turning the arm upward/ palm up
protraction
moving a part forward
retraction
