Moulding Flashcards
1
Q
Very common and highoy outomated process.
Example: A chair because it is not uniform cross-section
A
Injection
2
Q
- Fill the hopper with plastic granules or powder.
- Which in turn is pushed down the chamber by the screw
- The granules are heating up to become a liquid by the heater bands
- The liquid is forced under pressure into the mould.
