Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs definition
A motivational theory which states that all individuals have needs and these individuals will be motivated once these needs are satisfied.
What are the 5 needs of Maslow’s theory?
Physiological needs, safety and security, love and belonging, self-esteem and self-actualism.
What is the Goal Setting Theory?
Locke and Latham’s theory states that goals can lead to motivation in employees. Though not all goals provided high motivation.
What are the five principles that the goal setting theory should follow?
Clarity, Challenging, Commitment, Feedback and Task complexity.
What is the Four Drive Theory?
The four drive theory states that are four basic motivational needs that drives people’s emotions and behaviours.
