How to scan the Dorsal ventral motion to look for posterior listings

A

Scan: Dorsal-Ventral Motion
• Contact Point (CP): fleshy pisiform or palm of the caudal hand.
• Segmental Contact Point (SCP): dorsal spinous process (DSP).
• Direction of Motion: from your elbow.
– L6-T16: dorsal to ventral.
– T15-T13: adapt the motion angel to match the transition zone anatomy.
– T12-T3: 45° from dorsal to ventral, in caudal to cranial direction.
• Gentlymotioneachmotionunit,evaluatingforrelative restriction.
