Who is Grenville Sharp?

Grenville sharp was deeply touched by the story of a slave called Jonathan Strong. Jonathan was beaten up by his owners, but sharp took him to hospital and helped him recover, when Jonathan was well his owner reclaimed him and sold him to someone in the west indies but Strong had to wait in prison. After 7 years of campaigning the lord chief of justice made the following statement on the 22nd of June 1772 “no more selling of men in England”
