What causes schizophrenia?
An increase of dopamine and serotonin dependent activity in the brain
What causes depression?
Deficiency of primarily serotonin and secondly norepinephrine and dopamine.
What causes mania?
An excess of dopamine.
What cause Parkinson’s?
Decreased dopamine.
Decreased levels of GABA implicate ____?
Anxiety disorders, huntington’s, and epilepsy.
What causes Alzheimer’s?
Diminished norepinephrine and somatostatin.
