CCMP
An encryption protocol used in WiFi
WPA3
Wifi Protected Access 3. Provides increased protection of data over WiFi networks. Protects inportant management frames. Enables client and access point to exchange cryptographoc keys before the authentication step (SAE Simultaneous Authentication of Equals).
Bastion Host
A server used to manage access to an internal or private network from an external network.
MSA
Master Service agreement. A legal contract and agreement of terms. Sets up a borad framework to cover later transactions
SLA
Service Level Agreement. Minimum terms for the services provided, uptime, response time etc.
BPA
Business Partners Agreement. Describes finantials involved in the agreement and describes what type of ownership stake is accquired as part of the agreement.
SOW
Statement of Work. A specific list of items to be completed. Used in conjunction with an MSA to detail the scope of a job, location, decliverables, schedule, acceptance criteria and more. A document you can refer to when determining if the job was done properly.
Non-Repudiation
Assurance that the sender of information is provided with proof of delivery and the recipient is provided with proof of the sender’s identity, so neither can later deny having processed the information.
SD-WAN
Software Defined Wide Area Network. A wide area network that uses software defined networking technology such as communicating over the internet using encrypted overlay tunnels.
SDN
Software Defined Networking. Allows for software based controllers or APIs to communicate with underlying hardware infrastructure and direct traffic on a network.
