E.g a care manager will allocate tasks, set routines and standards for a care settings.

• if the staff performance falls shorts of the practice expected- line managers responsible to address- may be an informal conservation or warning
  If the concerns are serious or there is no more improvement in performance more formal action may taken which could finally lead to suspension or dismissal.
