Something that is made of different parts that are held together, a plant or animal, where each part has a specific job that makes the whole thing function.
Structures.
The special job or purpose that something does.

The act of continuing to live or exist.

The process of which a living thing increases in size and mass.

Something on the outside of an organism or living thing.
External.
A characteristic of living things that helps it survive in its environment.
Adaptations/Adapted.
The animal that is eaten by other animals.
Prey.
The environment includes everything living and nonliving in an area. For example the environment of a giraffe has grass, trees, water, other animals and non-living things like rocks and soils.
Environment.
The animal that eats the other animal.
Predators.
A home for animals and plants where they can find everything they need to survive as water, food and shelter in a specific place.
Habitat.
A tiny group of building blocks that are stuck together.
Molecule.
Any living things like a plant, animal or even a tiny bacteria.
Organism.
A signal or change in your environment that make you react.
Stimuli.
All the physical surrounding’s on Earth.
Surroundings.
A place where animal interactions impacts are minimal.
Natural environment.
The ways that the body receives signals from the environment and uses them to learn about, explore and interact with the world.
Senses.
When one or more animals send information from their environment process it and responds to it.
Processing.
The way the animal acts in order to survive.
Behavior Adaptions.
The way an animal is made or built to help them survive.
Structural Adaptions.
A special quality or feature that makes something different from other things.
Characteristics.
Even though plants or animals are the same type. they can have slightly different features or traits, like different colors sizes, or shapes, making each individual unique.
Variation.
A group of living things that are similar to each other.
Species.
The act of continuing to live or exist.
Survival.
When a living thing make a new living thing that looks like it self.
Reproduction/reproduce.
A special feature or behavior that a plant or animal has, which helps it to survive in its environment.
Adaption.
State of deep sleep that animals enter during winter to survive the cold and food scarcity.
Hibernation’s.
When an animal leaves their home environment to live in a new place based on environment conditions such as weather when birds fly south for the winter.
Migration.
A pattern, color or shape that helps a living thing blend into its environment. It is usually used to help prey avoid predators or for predators not to be seen by prey.
Camouflage.
A home for animals and plants where they can find everything they need to survive such as water, food and shelter in a specific place.
Habitat.
The ability to perform a behavior automatically and without thinking in certain situations.
Instinct.
