acknowledgement of country - someone who is not of the country where to event is taking place, makes a statement acknowledgement the first nations and elders present and the traditional owners of the land
welcome to country - is a ceremony performed by an elder or a traditional owner of the country where to event it, made with reverence and significance

my acknowledgement of country

A

I acknowledge the wurundjeri and woiwurrung people. They are the traditional owners of the land on which I live, study, work and enjoy my life. I recognise their continued and ongoing to connection to this land, waters and culture to which sovereignty was never ceded. I also would like to pay my deep respect to their Elders, past present and emerging .
