AWS Snowball offers two types of devices:

1. Snowball Edge Storage Optimized: Suitable for large-scale data migrations and recurring transfer workflows. It provides 80 TB of HDD capacity and 1 TB of SATA SSD for block volumes and object storage.
2. Snowball Edge Compute Optimized: Provides powerful computing resources for machine learning, analytics, full motion video analysis, and local computing stacks.

AWS Snowmobile is an exabyte-scale data transfer service used to move massive amounts of data to AWS. It utilizes a 45-foot long ruggedized shipping container (Snowmobile) that can transfer up to 100 petabytes of data. The Snowmobile is pulled by a semi-trailer truck.

AWS Snowmobile is designed for extremely large data transfers and is typically used in special cases where online data transfer is not feasible.
