PAP
Personal auto policy, may include coverage for
Uninsured and underinsured motorist
Medical payments
Damage to your auto(collision and comprehensive)
Bodily injury
Bodily harm, sickness or disease, including death
Business
Trade, profession or occupation
Family member
Means person related to you by blood, marriage or adoption who is a resident of your household. Includes a ward or foster child.
Occupying
Means in; upon; getting in, on, out or off.
Property damage
Physical injury to, destruction of, or loss of use of tangible property
Trailer
Means a vehicle designed to be pulled by a private passenger auto or station wagon type or pickup truck or van. Also means farm wagon or farm implement while being pulled by a vehicle listed above.
Newly acquired auto
Any of the following types of vehicles the I sired becomes. The owner of during the policy period:
Private passenger auto or station wagon type
A pickup truck or van that has a gross vehicle weight less than 10,000 pounds and is not for the delivery or transportation of goods and materials unless such use is incidental to the insured’s business of installing, maintaining, or repairing furnishings or equipment or for farming or ranching.
Replacement vehicle
Will have the same coverage as the vehicle described on the declarations, it replaces. The insurer must be notified within thirty days of acquisition.
Additional vehicle
Will have the broadest coverage of any vehicle described on the declarations. Must be reported to the insurer within 30 days of acquisition.
Vehicles eligible for the PAP
- Four wheel private passenger auto including station wagons
- Pickup or van provides it is less than 10,000 pounds gross vehicle weight and is not used to deliver person’s or property for a few.
- Owned or leased private passenger-type austos are eligible if leased under a written agreement and the lease is for a continuous period of at least 6 months.
Supplementary Payments
On behalf of the insured:
A. Premiums on appeal bonds and bonds to release attachments in any shit we defend.
B. All costs taxed against the insured and interest accruing after a judgement is entered in any suit the insurer defends.
To the insured:
A. Up to $250 for the cost of bail bonds required because of traffic law violations
B. Up to $200 a day for loss of wages due to attendence at hearings or trials at the insurer’s request.
C. Up to $200 for expenses incurred by an insured emergency first aid to others performed at the scene of an accident that involves any auto covered by the PAP.
D. Other reasonable expenses incurred at the insurer’s request.
Exclusions
The PAP liability section excludes coverage for:
- Bodily injury or property damage due to intentional acts but the insured.
The PAP liability section excludes coverage for damage to property:
Owned or rented by the insured.
The PAP liability section excludes coverage for damage to bodily injury:
In the course of employment.
