Troposphere
A
Most weather: Where most weather occurs
Tropopause: Top of troposphere is tropopause
Mass: Contains 70 - 80% of atmosphere mass
99% of water vapor

High Pressure v. Low Pressure
A
High pressure = good weather, creates a stable atmosphere, can trap fog or clouds
Low pressure = bad weather, air rises, winds circulate inwards and upwards.

Rising air v. Sinking air
A
Rising air = lower pressure at earth’s surface
Sinking air = higher pressure at earth’s surface
