Q

Steps on how determine RT of a room

A
  1. Identify and list all the materials/finishes of each surface inside the room
  2. Compute the surface area for each material
  3. Identify the absorption coefficient of each material
  4. For each material, multiply its surface area by its absorption coefficient. = sabins
  5. Total all the sabins
  6. Compute RT using formula
  7. Give assessments
  8. Make necessary changes until desirable reverberation time is achieved.
