What is an experimental variable?
An aspect of an experiment that changes during the course of the experiement.
What is a control?
The variable or part of the experiment to which all others will be compared.
What is surface tension?
It is a thin film that stretches across the surface of every liquid.
What are blind experiments?
Experiments in which the participants do not know whether or not they are part of the control group.
What are double blind experiments?
Experiments in which neither the participants nor the people analyzing the results who is in the control group.
What are single blind experiments?
Experiments where only the subject is blind.
What does subjective mean?
The data being collect depend to some extent on the opinions of people.
What does objective mean?
There is no way opinions can affect the experimental results.
