A

17 goals that countries that are members of the UN strive to follow. They target 5 Ps: people, planet, prosperity, peace, and partnership.

[ISO 14000 Environmental Management System] What is it?

A

ISO focuses on processes. EMS makes sure that an industries processes are compliant to environmental policies. This is a certification given to industries.

Document that records what processes the industry uses and are given to the people involved.

You need to submit this document full of your companies systems, processes, and roles then it will be decided if certification will be approved according to wether you comply with their standards.

ISO certification is used by companies to partner with others.

[DAO 2000-81 Air Quality Standards] What is it?

A

Measures air quality to reinforce RA 8749 Clean Air Act

It does this by taking air samples and measuring against a table of reference values. A vacuum is placed outside for an hour and it’s filter collects particles.

[DAO 2016-08 Water Quality Standard] What is it?

A

Measure water quality of fresh and marine bodies of water and waste water that is by product from factories.

Wastewater can be treated by treatment plant before being discharged back to bodies of water. Make sure water treated by the plant is actually clean though by collecting samples and studying them.

Compare to table.

This doc also shows industries in the PH and the usual waste they produce so you can check water samples for them.k

A

A

Law that requires each city to have a management system in place for solid waste.

This document recommends composting, recycling, reusing, and reducing.
