- Presenting reframe in form of a question or metaphor will likely be more considered than if stated as a fact.
Define:
N.L.P.
Neuro - visual, auditory, kinesthetic, smell, taste
Linguistic - the study of language & how we use it
Programming - the sequence of our actions, how we motivate ourselves to achieve our goals.
Content Reframe
The content or meaning of the situation is determined by what you choose to focus on.
Example: Electrical power failure
- disruptive or major disaster
+ intimate time with spouse or fun with children
Context Reframe
Taking negative or inappropriate behavior and using it in a positive and appropriate way.
Example:
-“I am too pushy.”
+“It’s a good thing I am pushy at work.”

Reframing
A useful tool for expanding a clients viewpoint and highlighting their available choices.

Congruent life, personality as a reflection of our true selves.
Example:
When someone’s internal images so great & positive it shines through; by expecting everyone to see them as they see themselves, inevitably they do.
