Kidney stones
definition-Kidney stones
Kidney stones are hard deposits of minerals and salts that stick together in concentrated urine.
symptom- severe pain (usually in the side of the abdomen), nausea, blood in urine
Cystitis/ UTI
definition-Bladder infection/ Urinary tract infection - usually caused by bacteria
symptoms-dysuria (painful urination), pelvic pain, frequent urination, increased urge to urinate, blood in the urine, fever
Pyelonephritis
definition-Inflammation of the kidney due to a bacterial infection. The UTI usually begins in the urethra or bladder and travels to the kidneys.
symptoms-fever, frequent urination, and pain in the back, side, or groin
Incontinence
definition-Loss of bladder control
symptom-Leaking urine
Renal Failure
definition-A condition in which the kidneys lose the ability to remove waste and balance fluids.
