Whats does the Mnemonic you must SCRUB but no ELBOWS mean?

A

S - Start each time you are on duty with the day, date and year
C - Corrections. Any corrections are to be made by striking through the
Incorrect word or entry and initialling the correction. The crossing out
should be made by one single line in such a way that the original entry
can still be read
R - Rule off across the page at the end of your tour of duty
U - Underline the day, date and year
B - Block capitals to be used for all SURNAMES, ADDRESSSES and
VEHCILE REGISTRATIONS

There must be NO:

E - Erasure of entries. All mistakes are to be corrected as per Corrections
above
L - Lines left out. All lines to be used. Any left out in error, must have a
single line drawn through, and initialled
B - Blanks, where whole or part pages are accidentally left blank a
diagonal line should be drawn across the blank area and the words
“omitted in error” written across the page. This should then be signed.
0 - Overwriting. You should be getting the message that there is only one
way of dealing with mistakes
W - Words crossed out. You will definitely have got the message now!
S - Separate pieces of paper. All notes should be made directly into your
PNB. Not onto a scrap of paper
