Sample: Subset analyzed.
Data Collection Methods
Cross-sectional: One-time snapshot.
Time-series: Data over time.
Types of data
Structured: Predefined format (e.g., spreadsheets).
Unstructured: No clear format (e.g., social media).
Big data characteristics
Volume, Velocity, Variety.
Scales of Measurement
Nominal: Labels.
Ordinal: Rank without differences.
Interval: Rank with differences, no true zero.
Ratio: Rank with true zero.
Dealing with missing data
Omission: Remove missing values.
Imputation: Replace values.
