What is the cuticle of the hair?
The outer shell of the hair which should be kept smooth by using a surface conditioning treatment
What is the cortex?
The cortex is inside of the hair which determines how thin or thick our hair is and the condition of it. To make sure our hair is healthy we use a penetrating conditioning treatment.
What is the medulla?
The medulla is in the center on the hair but be do not know what is is for. People with African American or very fine hair do not have a madulla
How would you identify dandruff?

Fast Circular movement cleaning hair and scalp

Cleanse hair line or cleansing in a zigzag to stimulate the scalp mainly used for dry scalp
What is petrissage
Conditioning hair. Taken away from back wash circular movement
