What is the Enlightenment project?

A

This was a philosophical, intellectual and influential movement. It led to the power of reason being more powerful than the power of leaving all reason to God. The power of science and reason helped to bring about more positive change to all those that used it to create a better society.

Marxists- Society is based on class inequality, all institutes benefits the RC
Functionalists- Everything in society has a function, it all helps create social solidarity
