What is the implementation phase?
Converts the specification of the system into an executable application.
What is the design?
It usually involves the construction of models which help the analyst understand the functionality of the system and to communicate with customers.
When are design and implementation phases treated?
Sometimes they are treated simultaneously
What is system modeling?
Process of developing abstract models of a system, with each model presenting a different viewer perspective of that system.
What has system modeling come to mean?
Representing a system with some kind of graphical notation which is now almost always based on notations in the unified modeling language.
What is the main goal of system modeling?
Help in the understanding of the functionality of the system.
How are models used during requirements engineering?
To communicate the understanding of the system among stakeholders.
