What is the medulla?
only present in thicker hair types, is the innermost layer of your hair. It consists of a soft, thin core of transparent cells and air spaces.
What is Telogen Effluvium?
a condition that accelerates hair from the anagen phase to the telogen phase and then the exogen phase 2-3 times faster than normal hair loss.
Is the translucent layer of tissue that exists only on the palms of the hand and soles of the feet.

The bottom layer of the skin contains fat, nerves, and large blood vessels. Acts as our temp regulator, as fat insulates the body.
