Adenoids
a collection of lymph tissue in the nasopharynx. They are also called tonsils.
apex of the lung
the uppermost portion of the lung.
Apical
pertaining to the apex.
Bronchioles
the smallest branches of the bronchi.
bronchus or bronchi
branch from the trachea and are the air tubes that go into the lung. They act as a passageway into the air spaces of the lung.
diaphragm
the muscle separating the chest and the abdomen.
epiglottis
the lid-like piece of cartilage that covers the larynx.
lobes of the lungs
the divisions of the lungs.
mediastinum
the region between the lungs in the chest cavity. It contains the trachea, heart, aorta, esophagus and bronchial tubes.
Paranasal sinuses
ir-containing cavities in the bones near the nose.

lobe of the lung as in lobectomy, the removal of a lobe of the lung

nose as in paranasal, around the nose

voice as in dysphonia, which means difficulty speaking
