I work from home, making online videos on topics like scrapbooking, trends, and consulting
What is your relation to today’s case?
I am the neighbour to the accused Bobbie Bann
Can you describe one of these interactions you’ve had with ms Bann
I talked to her about string of burglaries that happened in the area
How long have these burglaries you’ve mentioned been happening?
Since we have been living here, so about 12 years
How would you describe the neighbourhood you live in?
Unsafe for sure, there has been burglaries that occur, so i always try to keep an eye out
Since you say it’s an unsafe neighbourhood, what precautions, if any, did you take to keep yourself and your family safe?
I keep aware of what’s happening in the neighbourhood, so we also own a gun for precautionary purposes
Based on what you’ve said, what advice if any did you give to your neighbours? Particularly Bobbie Bann
I implied that she should consider getting something for self defence
On June 13th what if anything did you see out of the ordinary in the neighbourhood?
I was in the front yard, and noticed a crew of 2-3 people on Bobbie Banns roof doing repairs
On June the 13th when did you go to sleep?
At about 10:30pm, but later in the night I was awoken by several loud bangs, and screaming
What did you do when you heard the bangs followed by screaming?
I got out of bed and peeked out of my window, and knew that the sounds had come from Banns house, I figured something was wrong so I called 911 and then heard a large amount of sirens going to Bobbie Banns house, I then went down to the scene to find out what was happening
What did you find out from the cops when you went over to the scene?
The cops told me they found a dead body in the house
What did you know of the dead body?
I’m in court today and now know that it was the body of Mr. Fallon King
What do you know about Mr King and Ms. Bann
I knew they were seeing each other for around 6 months but they didn’t live together.
How did you find out about this?
I was talking with Ms Bann about a week ago and she mentioned how they were seeing each other and that Ms Bann was planning on asking Mr King to move in with her. It seemed like Ms Bann was very set on this.
When I asked her if Mr King was moving in after such a short time in the relationsip was a good idea, Ms Bann did not see anything wrong with it. Ms Bann even said that she didn’t think she would be able to handle it if the proposal wasn’t accepted.
How did Ms Bann seem in this interaction?
She seemed very possessive about the relationship
