A

The contractor had made it aware as soon as it became apparent that a delay may occur.
They issued all relevant information needed for the CA to assess level of delay. This also came with a claim for L&E, once checking it was a relevant matter I reviewed the costs. Once agreed, it was added to the contract sum and paid in the next interim payment
