-If you’re in range of a transmitter you can get data from the internet.
3G uses radio waves to connect to a local mast and then to the internet.
4G is faster than 3G and can send more data per second.
- A cellular network spans a wide area covering towns, cities etc.
- Typically slower than WIFI
- Cellular data is based on monthly data plans that most often come with limited amounts of data

-You must have a WiFi hotspot or router to receive and send signals
