One notable example of an MLA asking questions is SDLP MLA Matthew O’toole when he asked the minister on the raising concerns within lough Neagh.
What did O’toole ask?
O’toole asked what coordinated efforts were being used across government levels too address pollution and restore water quality within the Lough, he also emphasised for a more collective approach to all relevant bodies
What is a PMB
A PMB is a piece of legislative proposal brought forward, these do not come from the Executive but from individual members or groups of MLAS

Claire Baileys abortion (Northern Ireland) (No.2) Bill
What did the Claire Baileys PMB do
The PMB created exclusion zones banning anti- abortion protests and became legislation after receiving backing from the Assembly. Meaning protests and demonstrations were not to be allowed outside Sexual Health centres
What are All Party Groups?
APGs create a forum in which MLAs, outside organisations and individuals can meet together and discuss issues or concerns on a topic
